“幸福路”上不幸福。这说的是“幸福路”上一些大型国企的命运。这些大型国企都曾经有过辉煌,但都相继走入困境。在这条幸福路上,有个老企业不但没有走下坡路,反而越来越好。这个企业就是位于西安幸福北路39号的陕西重汽。陕汽在2000年的重卡产量是3389辆,而今年前11个月,重卡的销量已经超过375辆,是2000年的10倍,企业职工真正感到了幸福。跟这条幸福路上很多靠租地、卖地维持的老企业不同,陕西重汽不但在幸福路上的土地一点没减,还在西安北郊大兴土木,盖起了一座现代化的发动机工厂和重型卡车生产基地。我曾经问过幸福路上不幸福的原因,很多人认为,西安这个地方太保守了,而幸福路上的这些老国企无法跟上市场经济的步伐,被时代慢慢淘汰。

I once asked why I was not happy on the road to happiness.
