闽糖90-55系福建省农科院甘蔗研究所以CP57-614为母本 ,崖城84-153为父本的杂交组合中选育出的一个具有高产、高糖、中熟抗旱、宿根性好、适应性广的甘蔗新品种。在福建多年多点试验结果表明 ,闽糖90-55公顷蔗茎产量125 355吨 ,11 -2月份平均蔗糖分14 18%(绝对值) ,公顷含糖量18 074吨 ,分别比福建当前主栽品种闽糖70 -611增加29 0%、0 40个百分点和32 7%。该品种在全国甘蔗品种第二轮区试和省生产示范中 ,平均公顷蔗茎产量104 954吨 ,11 -2月份平均蔗糖分13 43%(绝对值) ,公顷含糖量14 292吨 ,分别比全国对照种新台糖10号增加39 0 %、低1 0%和增加30 5 %。
