Globally, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is one of widely used techniques for the determination of polycylic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the environmental samples.Gas chromatography is also used for PAH determination but HPLC is clearly advantageous because of its high sensitivity in this area.Previous studies have also shown that HPLC fluorescence detection limit for PAHs is better than GC-MS.We have investigated PAHs in different environmental samples.Soil and vegetables samples were extracted for the concentrations of PAHs using organic solvent (dichloromethane (DCM)) extraction technique.
