In recent years, there have been many reports from abroad about the symbiotic phenomenon of the root system of tropical gramineous plants and nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Nitrogen fixation activity in rice rhizosphere was determined by the International Rice Research Institute. After 50-60 days after transplanting, the nitrogen fixation ability of paddy soil began to increase and reached the maximum during flowering. The Microbiology Laboratory of Fujian Agricultural College also reported measuring the acetylene reduction activity in rice roots (1978). The discovery of symbiotic nitrogen fixation in plant roots opens up a new way for expanding the use of biological nitrogen fixation in non-leguminous plants. But for now, the distance should actually be in agricultural production
