受中国科协委托,由中国水利、地球物理、地震、气象、土木工程、水力发电工程、水土保持、天文、农学、地质、地理、环境科学、林学、航海、海洋等15个全国性学会联合召开的“全国减轻自然灾害研讨会”,于1990年10月21日至25日在京召开。这次会议的主题是自然灾害预测和减灾对策。会议共收到论文423篇,涉及到水、旱、地震、风暴、海冰、泥石流、滑坡、盐碛土、地裂、水土流失、雪崩、冰雹、海啸等10多种自然灾害,会议将其中99篇论文和66篇论文摘要汇编成《中国减轻自然灾害研究》并已由中国科技出版社出版,反映了我国近年来在减灾研究方面的成就和水平。
Entrusted by the China Association for Science and Technology, it is jointly established by 15 national societies including China’s water conservancy, geophysics, earthquake, meteorology, civil engineering, hydroelectric engineering, soil and water conservation, astronomy, agronomy, geology, geography, environmental science, forestry, navigation, and oceanography. The National Seminar on Natural Disaster Reduction was held in Beijing from October 21 to October 25, 1990. The theme of the conference was natural disaster prediction and disaster reduction countermeasures. The conference received a total of 423 papers involving more than 10 natural disasters such as water, drought, earthquake, storm, sea ice, mudslides, landslides, saline soil, land cracks, soil erosion, avalanche, hail, tsunami, etc. The compilation of 99 papers and 66 paper abstracts into the “Study on Natural Disaster Reduction in China” has been published by China Science and Technology Publishing House, reflecting the achievements and level of disaster reduction research in China in recent years.
