江门市高级技工学校创办于1963年,是广东省首批国家重点技校和高级技校,2003年加挂“江门市技师学院”牌子并批准成为“国家高技能人才培训基地”,是五邑侨乡培养中高级技工人才、技师人才、生产管理人才的培训基地。因此学校被誉为江门地区工业战线的“黄埔军校”,又被国家劳动保障部赞誉为我国技工教育园地的“南国一枝花”。2003年,江门市高级技工学校充分贯彻落实全国和全省人事人才工作会议精神,配合广东省委、省政府“十项民心工程”——扩大与促进就业工程的实施,学校领导班子发扬了团结务实,积极进取的精神,以邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导,不断深化学校各项改革,不断提高教学质量和办学水平,始终坚持社会主义办学方
Founded in 1963, Jiangmen Advanced Technician School is one of the first batch of state-level key technical schools and advanced technical schools in Guangdong Province.
