奥吉布瓦传统宗教是奥吉布瓦传统文化的重要组成部分。在北美文化政策和天主教的传播的双重绞杀下,萨满教遭受灭顶之击。在厄德里克的小说中,传统文化在新形势下的生存、发展与传承通过不同人物的不同选择得以展现。它不仅是弱势文化生存发展的动力,更是反书写富含专制、侵略的主流文化的有效手段。
Ojibwa Traditional religion is an important part of the traditional culture of Ojibwa. Shamanism suffered an overrun under the dual strangulation of North American cultural policy and Catholicism. In Erdrich’s novel, the survival, development and inheritance of traditional culture under the new situation can be demonstrated through different choices of different characters. It is not only the driving force behind the development of disadvantaged cultures, but also an effective counter-writing method to the mainstream culture that is rich in autocracy and aggression.
