The properties and durability of polymer concrete depend on the preferences of the components of the mixture and the possibility of testing its performance during the formation of the product. The production process requirements for fabricated polymer concrete structures require the non-destructive testing of material properties, the uniformity of the microstructure of the material, and the timely detection of defects to be studied and applied. The ultrasonic method is very popular both in material testing and in industry. Experts are very familiar with this method. Using this method, the detection of traditional building materials (including cement and concrete) has been standardized, and for polymer concrete, it is still in the initial stage of research.
