农家书屋工程今年全面启动。建设农家书屋以政府为主导,不要农民一分钱。预计到2008年底,全国将累计建成6万个农家书屋。“十一五”期间建立20万个农家书屋,2015年基本覆盖全国64万个行政村,解决农民群众读书难、看报难、音像制品少的问题。这是近日在北京召开的全国农家书屋工程建设工作会议上,新闻出版总署署长柳斌杰向公众宣布的“时间表”。
