马克思.韦伯撰写《新教伦理与资本主义精神》,向我们介绍了基督教新教伦理、肯定了其对资本主义精神形成所起的重要作用、揭示了禁欲与克己,积累与创造对资本主义发展的影响。翻阅史料,我们老祖宗早在两千多年前就留下了类似的古训。为什么前者展示出完全与中国封建历史发展截然不同的轨迹?为什么我国两千多年前出现的如此先进的理论指导却没有导致资本主义萌芽?于是究其始末引起了我极大的兴趣,考虑其影响也的确发人深省。
