“完形填空”(Cloze Test) 作为一种教学手段和考试方法被越来越广泛地应用于外语教学中, 尤其是应用在英语教学中。“完形填空”建立于完形心理的理论基础上。“完形填空”所用文章段落的长度一般要在200 到250 个单词之间。这样可达到所含词汇和句子结构的种类合理均衡的效果。研究表明, “完形填空”在培养和测试学生阅读英语能力方面比多项选择阅读理解问题更具有客观性, 更能引导学生充分认真地阅读。“完形填空”可用于确定文章的可读性; 评估学生的学习进步程度; 提高学生听力水平以及英语写作教学
Cloze Test is increasingly used as a teaching tool and test method in foreign language teaching, especially in English teaching. “Cloze” is based on the theory of cloing psychology. The length of articles used in Cloac generally ranges between 200 and 250 words. In this way, the types of lexical and sentence structures can be reasonably balanced. Studies show that “cloze” is more objectivity in developing and testing students’ abilities to read English than many alternative reading comprehension questions, and can guide students to read them fully and conscientiously. “Cloze” can be used to determine the readability of the article; assessment of student learning progress; improve students’ listening skills and teaching English writing
