UNAIDS 从l986年起,世界卫生组织就开始在联合国范围内负责艾滋病的宣传与防治事宜,帮助各国开展各种项目。到90年代中期,艾滋病的传播速度加快,对人类生活的各方面造成了广泛的冲击,世界要求联合国做出更大的努力。1996年,联合国将5大国际组织召集在一起成立了“联合国艾滋病规划署”(简称:UNAIDS),这5个组织分别是联合国儿童基金会、联合国开发计划署、联合国人口基金、联合国教科文组织、世界卫生组织和世界银行。该组织总部在瑞士的日内瓦。现在的项目
UNAIDS Since l986, the World Health Organization has been responsible for propaganda and prevention of AIDS within the United Nations, helping countries to carry out various projects. By the mid-1990s, the spread of AIDS had accelerated, and it had caused widespread impact on various aspects of human life. The world requested the United Nations to make greater efforts. In 1996, the United Nations brought together five major international organizations to establish the “UNAIDS” (abbreviation: UNAIDS). These five organizations are the United Nations Children’s Fund, the United Nations Development Program, the United Nations Population Fund, and UNESCO. , World Health Organization and World Bank.
