分子遗传学在疟原虫自然种群的基因研 究方面具有重要的作用。聚合酶链反应(PCR)不需建立培养,可直接从宿主获得寄生虫识别的基因,因此特别有价值。本文重点论述PCR及分子生物学技术在恶性疟原虫自然种群基因多样性以及基因重组研究中的应用。
Molecular genetics plays an important role in genetic research of the natural population of Plasmodium. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is particularly valuable because it does not require culturing and can obtain the gene for parasite recognition directly from the host. This article focuses on the application of PCR and molecular biology techniques in the genetic diversity and genetic recombination of P. falciparum natural populations.
