镇海发电厂3号锅炉,配两台沈阳重型机器厂生产的380/720型钢球磨煤机(双侧传动)。于1985年底投入运行,甲侧磨煤机共运行35783h大齿轮的正反两个齿面都严重磨损。其中正齿面(安装啮合面)运行24014h,反齿面(采用筒体反转运行作啮合面)运行11769h。由于齿面磨损引起振动剧烈,接连发生轴承地脚螺栓断裂、轴承座底脚碎裂、大齿轮轮毂裂纹等故障,无法继续运行。目前这台磨煤机已更换了大、小齿轮。

The spur surface (with the mating surface) is running for 24014h and the anti-flank surface (with the cylinder reversing operation as the mating surface) runs for 11769h. As a result of tooth surface wear and tear caused by severe vibration, a series of bearing anchor bolts fracture, cracked bearing feet, large gear hub cracks and other failures, can not continue to run. At present this mill has been replaced by large and small gears.
