冷战结束后,又伴随着21世纪的到来,一场“海上革命”正在悄然兴起。世界各海上强国逐步调整了各自的海军战略,沿海作战已成为未来军事斗争的焦点。作为实施沿海作战的主要力量,海军将装备什么样的军舰以适应新的海上军事斗争的需要,正在成为各国极为关注的重要论题。目前世界各国在保留现有军舰优点的基础上,开始设计21世纪的新型舰艇,其主要追求的设计特点如下:
After the end of the cold war, accompanied by the advent of the 21st century, a “revolutionary sea” is quietly emerging. The world's maritime powers have gradually adjusted their naval strategies. Coastal fighting has become the focus of future military struggles. As the major force in carrying out coastal operations, it is becoming an important topic of great concern to all countries that the Navy will equip its warships to meet the needs of the new maritime military struggle. At present, all countries in the world have started to design new ships of the 21st century on the basis of retaining the advantages of existing warships. The main features pursued by the design are as follows:
