思想政治工作是我们党的优良传统和政治优势。在长期的革命和建设实践中,特别是随着改革开放的不断深入和发展,党在加强和改进思想政治工作方面积累了丰富的经验。但也应看到,在新的形势下,思想政治工作确实存在着观念滞后、方法落伍的问题。在新的历史条件下,思想政治工作的环境、任务、内容和渠道都发生了很大变化,我们必须适应变化了的情况,在继承发扬优良传统的基础上,按照“三个代表”的要求,认真研究新形势下思想政治工作的特点和规律,努力探索新途径,总结新经验,在创新上狠下功夫。
