3月30日上午,市统计局假座上海展览馆召开全市统计工作会议,会议由市统计局副局长吴振国主持,市统计局副局长黄璋传达了全国统计工作会议精神,市统计局局长陈步林回顾总结了1993年本市的统计工作并部置了今年上海统计工作的主要任务。市计委副主任程静萍出席会议并讲话,市人民政府副秘书长蔡耒兴受徐匡迪副市长之托到会讲话,他肯定了上海的统计工作并就上海统计工作如何率先适应建立社会主义市场经济运行机制的要求,率先与国际接轨提出了希望和要求。各区、县、局分管统计工作的领导和统计人员300余人出席了会议。
