杂交粳稻发展20多年来,种植面积一直不大,究其原因是多方面的,研究的人力、财力、物力不足没有理想的组合,可能是最为关键的.江苏省淮阴市农科所与北方杂粳中心合作,通过不同生态区之间的引种,育成较为理想的泗优418的组合,属早熟晚粳.1997~1998年参加江苏省杂交中粳区试,两年汇总平均9.52t/hm~2,比对照武育粳3号增产8.43%,比对照九优138增产8.8%,均达极显著水平.经稳定性测验,两年回归系数分别为1.0874、1.1831,略低于平均稳定.1999年4月通过江苏省农作物品种审定委员会审定.该组合突出的优点:米质好,产量高,抗稻瘟病和白叶枯病,且耐肥抗倒.
