大同煤矿集团公司四老沟矿开采历史长,能源接近枯竭,如何通过技术手段让四老沟矿焕发新的活力,已经成为目前该矿生产亟待解决的问题。介绍了四老沟矿的实际情况,阐述了机头平衡装置研制过程和应用效果。同时分析了新型的液压型机头平衡装置应用后具体的社会经济效益及总体性能指标。通过对薄煤层综采工作面刮板机机头平衡装置研究与应用,让综采顺槽巷道和工作面切巷水平面最大落差达到1.6m,实现了顺利开采,使8103工作面在规定时间内顺利完成开采。
