1956年8月,我考入中央民族学院来到北京。1957年,学校传来特大喜讯:“毛主席将于6月28日在中南海接见我院全体师生。”顿时,校园沸腾了。6月28日凌晨,一辆接一辆的大轿车开进了校园,同学们一拥而上,紧接着汽车飞驰般地开进了中南海的西门。刚下车,我就看到刘格平院长在等候着同学们。随后,刘院长领着师生进了一个宽大圆形的院落。
In August 1956, I entered Beijing Central University for Nationalities. In 1957, great news came from the school: “Chairman Mao will meet with all teachers and students of our college in Zhongnanhai on June 28.” Suddenly, the campus boiled. On the early morning of June 28, a large car followed one another and entered the campus. The students swarmed into the park, and then the car swiftly entered the west gate of Zhongnanhai. Just get off, I saw President Liu Geping waiting for the students. Subsequently, Dean Liu led the teachers and students into a large round courtyard.
