报业竞争日趋激烈,如何做大做强,业界十分关注。有的报社不惜成本创办多家报刊,甚至同一集团内部有两三张定位相似的子报,自相打压,其结果可想而知。武汉晚报社党委在报界争办子报的热潮中,头脑冷静,“反弹琵琶”,经过缜密的市场调查,从2001年10月8日起,将同质母子报合二为一,举两报之力做强一报,成效显著。其成功的经验启示我们,报业在做大的过程中一定要处理好扩张和效益的关系。
