随着荣成市经济和社会的迅猛发展,每年外来务工人员都在7—8万人,高峰期在10万多人,接近全市劳动力的三分之一,外工在荣成的位置已由80年代初的调剂余缺发展成为当地国民经济和社会发展的一支重要力量,其作用越来越突出。制度化、规范化的外工管理不仅是切实保障外工合法权益的需要,更是促进荣成经济持续快速发展、社会安定团结的需要。为此,荣成市下大气力狠抓管理,在维护外工合法权益、稳定外工队伍的同时,确保了全市经济的快速发展。
With the rapid economic and social development in Rongcheng City, the number of migrant workers is between 70,000 and 80,000 per annum and the peak is more than 100,000.
