浑源县的北坡区有10个乡(镇)、85个村,57398口人,总面积510.41km~2。其中水土流失面积69.67万亩,占总面积的91％。属永定河上游桑干河水系。这里原是一片黄色世界:黄色土地、黄色人种,生活在用黄土筑起的黄色窑洞里——土墙、土窑、土炕,连农民们脸上皱纹中的土也是黄色的。可如今,这些荒寂的山村旧貌换了新颜,这片黄土地上已经注入了新的活力,充满了勃勃生机,变成了一片绿色世界。
There are 10 townships (towns) in the northern slope of Hunyuan County, 85 villages and 57398 people with a total area of 510.41km ~ 2.
