厦门终将成为走向国际的“中国特区”,以及拓展两岸关系的重要支点厦门在12月22日将迎来“特区建设25周年”庆典。25年回眸,厦门为中国的特区试验中贡献了什么。厦门市统计局目前提供的数据显示,2006年厦门国内生产总值预计将达到1160亿元。在以年均18％的增速快速增长25年后,厦门已从中国经济版图中一个无足轻重的海岛小城,崛起为初具雏形的海峡西岸重要中心城市。
