我院图书馆图书阅览室的工作人员,为使藏书得到更充分的利用,已经连续两年开展为读者夜间外借图书工作,并收到了较好的效果。现结合我们的工作实际,就此问题进行一点探讨。 一、图书阅览室的藏书及利用特点 为说明图书阅览室开展夜间外借图书工作的必要性和可行性,有必要对图书阅览室的藏书及利用特点做一下分析。图书阅览室与书库都是利用图书直接为读者服务的机构,由于它们的服务方式不同,因此,阅览室与书库相比具有如下特点:
