Ion-selective electrode method and AIF molecular absorption spectrometry were used to determine the total amount of ionic fluorine (F ~ -) and total fluorine (TF) - ionic fluorine and bound fluorine in human serum, respectively. The latter is much larger than the former, confirming the existence of non-ionic fluorine in the serum. Through the determination of serum fluoride and total fluoride in normal people and patients with fluorosis, it was found that there was a significant difference in F ~ - / TF, P <0.01.
