中国著名地震学家、中国地震学会常务理事、国家地震局地球物理研究所研究员、中国近代地震科学事业的开创者李善邦生于1902年,卒于1980年4月29日,终年78岁。李善邦是广东省兴宁县人,1925年毕业于南京东南大学物理系,做过中学教员,后来到地质调查所工作,负责筹办地震台站开展研究工作。1930年在北京鹫峰建立起我国自己的第一个地震台,并按照国际觇定印发月报及专报与世界各地震台交换。他还负责鹫峰地震研究室的工作。后来曾去日本东京帝国大学(今东
Li Shanbang, a famous Chinese seismologist, standing director of China Seismological Society, researcher of Institute of Geophysics of China Earthquake Administration and pioneer of earthquake science in modern China, was born in 1902 and died on April 29, 1980, at the age of 78. Li Shanbang is a native of Xingning County, Guangdong Province. He graduated from the Department of Physics, Southeast University in Nanjing in 1925 and worked as a secondary school teacher. Later he went to the Institute of Geological Survey and was responsible for organizing the research work on the seismic stations. 1930 In Jiufeng, Beijing, China established its own first seismograph station, and in accordance with international regulations issued a monthly report and special reports and exchange of earth stations around the world.
