鞍钢五十年代使用28号轧钢机油,当时负荷并不大,也经常出现严重的点蚀和磨损。例如24英寸连轧机组,传动齿轮的使用寿命一般为2～3年,伞齿轮使用寿命为1～2年;人字齿轮座与横切飞剪主传动齿轮寿命为2～4年;人字齿轮座齿轮的使用寿命一般为2年;小型轧机的齿轮使用寿命为2～5年;而1150初轧机压下部位,铜垫的磨损更为严重,一般为2～3个月就报废。60年代试用了石油五厂的200号工业齿轮油,经过十多年的使用,证明这种齿轮油对于减少齿轮的点蚀、磨损,延长齿轮寿命有一定效果。但当进入70年代中、末期,随着轧钢产量的迅速提高和齿面负荷的增加,原用油品又显得不适应了,为了解决这个问题,于1976年鞍钢在某些润滑部位试用了新油品,效果较好。下面介绍鞍钢对齿轮润滑油品的选用:
