The Symposium on the “Theory of Lattice-Rules for Parallel Computing Applications” recommended and organized by Professor Li Zhengdao, a famous physicist, was opened in Beijing on May 21. This 12-day seminar is the first major international academic activity organized by China Advanced Science and Technology Center, which was established last year, and the relevant institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Peking University.
