Toll-like receptors are an important class of pattern recognition receptors that specifically recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns and play an important role in innate immune responses and adaptive immune responses. We discuss ligand and signal transduction pathways. TLR2 and TLR9 play an important role in the immunomodulation of Corynebacterium parvum.
