目的:观察葫芦巴总皂苷(TFGs)对链脲佐霉素(STZ)诱导的糖尿病大鼠骨密度(BMD)及骨组织计量学的影响。方法:采用STZ腹腔注射复制糖尿病模型,采用TFGs治疗后,观察各组大鼠骨密度和骨组织计量学指标的变化。结果:与对照组大鼠相比,模型组大鼠全身及股骨BMD和平均骨小梁厚度(MTPT)明显降低,而平均骨小梁间距(MTPS)明显增高;与模型组大鼠相比,治疗组大鼠全身及股骨BMD和MTPT均明显增高,而MTPS明显降低。结论:TFGs可能具有改善糖尿病相关骨质疏松的作用。
Objective: To observe the effects of total saponins of fenugreek (TFGs) on bone mineral density (BMD) and bone histomorphometry in diabetic streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rats. Methods: Diabetic models were established by intraperitoneal injection of STZ. After treatment with TFGs, changes in bone mineral density and bone histomorphometry were observed in all groups. RESULTS: Compared with the control rats, the BMD and mean trabecular thickness (MTPT) of the whole body and femur were significantly reduced in the model group, and the mean trabecular distance (MTPS) was significantly higher. Compared with the rats in the model group, In the treatment group, BMD and MTPT of the whole body and femur were significantly increased, while MTPS was significantly decreased. Conclusion: TFGs may have the effect of improving diabetes-related osteoporosis.
