利用现代科技加强出版发行的现代化管理,是出版界企盼已久的事情。1990年全国新闻出版统计工作会议结束后,四川省新闻出版局组织科技人员进行《图书发行软件》程序的编制工作,并于1990年8月初步完成。专家们经过审查评议,认为这套软件系统全面,应用范围广。这套软件现在已交付新闻出版署以及上海、江苏、福建、广东、吉林、云南、湖北、湖南等省、市新闻出版系统试机运行。目前、反馈的信息表明,试运情况良好,有较高的实用价值。新闻出版署计财司已决定于今年5月向全国新闻出版系统推广应用。

The software has now been delivered to the Press and Publication Administration and the test run of the press and publication system in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Fujian, Guangdong, Jilin, Yunnan, Hubei and Hunan provinces. At present, the feedback of information shows that the commissioning situation is good and has high practical value. The Planning and Publishing Department of the Press and Publication Administration has decided to promote the use of the national press and publication system in May this year.
