在具有划时代意义的中国共产党十一届三中全会召开20周年之际,恰值中国民主同盟八届二中全会在京召开,为此,部分民盟中央常委、委员和特邀代表济济一堂,于1998年12月17日在中国妇女活动中心举行了《民盟中央纪念中共十一届三中全会召开二十周年座谈会》。会议由民盟中央主席丁石孙主持,民盟中央名誉副主席马大猷,副主席谢颂凯、吴修平、张毓茂、厉以宁、江景波、袁行霈、俞泽猷、吴正德、张宝文出席了会议。座谈会气氛隆重热烈,与会同志结合自身感受畅谈了20年来我国在政治、经济、文化、科技、教育及其他领域发生的举世瞩目的历史巨变,同时也欣喜地回顾了民盟的工作和发展随着整个国家的改革、进步一起进入了一个新的时期。大家在发言中表达了一个共同的愿望:坚持十一届三中全会解放思想、实事求是的思想路线,坚持和完善中国共产党领导的多党合作和政治协商制度,把十一届三中全会开创的改革开放事业不断推向前进,为实现跨世纪的宏伟目标而努力奋斗。现将座谈会发言摘要刊载如下:
On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the epoch-making third plenary session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, just as the Second Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee of the Chinese Democratic Association convened in Beijing, part of the Central Committee of the NLD, members and specially invited representatives gathered together in 1998 On December 17, 2008, the “NLD Central Committee commemorated the 20th anniversary of the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of CPC” was held at the China Women’s Activity Center. The meeting was chaired by Ding Shisun, chairman of the Central Democratic League (NLD); Ma Danyang, vice chairman of the Central League Committee of the League of Democratization; Xie Songkai, Wu Xiuping, Zhang Yumo, Li Yining, Jiang Jingbo, Yuan Xingtao, Yu Zefan, Wu Zhengde and Zhang Baowen attended the meeting. The atmosphere of the symposium was solemn and warm. The participating commanders talked about their historical tremendous changes that have caught the world’s attention in the political, economic, cultural, scientific, technological, educational and other fields over the past 20 years. In the meantime, they also rejoiced at the work and development of the Democratic League The reform and progress of the entire country have entered a new period together. Everyone expressed a common wish in his speech: adhere to the ideological line of emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts in the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, uphold and improve the system of multi-party cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and set forth the system of multi-party cooperation and political consultation led by the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee The cause of reform and opening up will continue to move forward and work hard to achieve the grand goal of cross-century.
