在云霄县国有企业改革转制的过程中涌现了一批下岗创业的先进个人,原云霄县面粉有限公司下岗职工汤育智无疑是其中杰出的一位。1996年,汤育智从云霄县面粉有限公司副总经理的位置上下岗失业,1997年,他创办了云霄县长城旅游有限公司,五年来,他扎实苦干、勇闯新路,投身市场经济主战场,通过不断探索、不断开辟,使企业的发展不断上新台阶,他在取得事业进步的同时,多次通过捐献财物、参与活动等形式回报社会,谱写了直面下岗、勇于创业、回报社会的青春三部曲。
