很多教师在初中英语教学中对词汇教学都很不重视,一般都是侧重于讲解题目与文章,把初中英语的教学重点放在其它英语知识上,而对词汇的教学只限制在新词汇上,且教授时只是将发音教给学生,让学生自己去完成读单词和记单词的任务。初中教师都认为初中阶段没必要再着重词汇教学,学生可以自己掌握词汇知识。但随着英语难度的增加,初中英语的词汇也会增加难度,词汇量也会随着增加,这就会使学生的学习难度增加以至于不能很好地掌握词汇。除此之外,因为学生对词汇的熟悉掌握能力没有达到一定的程度,从而更增加了学生在英语学习
