“生活即教育”是中国现代杰出的人民教育家陶行知先生教育思想的核心。其内涵为:“从定义上说:生活教育是给生活以教育,用生活来教育,为生活向前向上的需要而教育。从生活与教育的关系上说:是生活决定教育。从效力上说:教育要通过生活才能发生力量而成为真正的教育。”随着新《纲要》的深入学习,教师教育理念的不断更新,游戏逐渐成为幼儿在幼儿园中一日生活的主要活动,成为孩子学习的主要形式。而理论与实践也证明,游戏是最适合学前儿童的一种活动形式。
