In the past 15 years, acute hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection has attracted great attention from clinicians, epidemiologists and basic scientific researchers. However, there is not enough understanding of the natural process of HBV infection. Knowing more information will be useful for planning a vaccine for HBV prevention. In particular, more information is needed on the relationship between age and gender and the progress of clinical disease and the subsequent development of chronic poisoning. For this reason, we conducted research in the Eskimos. Subjects include infants, children and adults living in homes and public settings.
