Not long ago, the National Research Council held a meeting of advisors and presidents in Beijing to study and determine the work arrangements for the year 1993. Yuan Baohua, Gu Dachun, Zeng Zhi, Ma Hong, Xu Weicheng, Zhao Yinhua, Zeng Qun, Liu Shi, Li Chuanhua, Lausanne and other comrades attended the meeting. Some of the deputy secretary-generals of the National Research Association attended the meeting. Comrade Zheng Bijian, executive deputy minister of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, was invited to attend the meeting and expressed his hope for the work of the National Research Council.
