由于民族众多,中华民族的饮食文化多姿多彩,各地春节食俗也是异彩纷呈。 我国北方人春节第一餐吃饺子,饺子颇似元宝,寓有进宝之意。各地饺子的做法和食法不同,北京的清水煮饺,东北的老边饺子,江南的水煎饺,玉润玲珑,馅鲜味美。 四川、重庆地区的人春节第一餐吃汤圆。用自制的汤圆粉或市场上出售的干汤圆粉制成各种馅心的汤圆,润甜可口。 湖北一些地方,过年要喝鸡汤,象征清泰平安。 广西一带有的过年要吃甜食,象征甜甜蜜蜜。 壮族人春节第一餐要吃白斩鸡、酿豆腐、油堆等。
