On February 24, 2008, the first man-made island 7000 m ring track mobile module rig independently developed by Baoji Petroleum Machinery Co., Ltd. was successfully drilled on the artificial island of No. 1 East Jibao Oilfield. This marks the large-scale efficient development of Nanpu Oilfield officially kicked off.
