“直根类蔬菜”就是指地下部膨大器官来自主根之膨大的一类蔬菜。如萝卜、胡萝卜、芜菁、火焰菜等。这类蔬菜以肥大的直根作为收获产品。收获器官为地下部分并不意味着其地上部分的发育不重要。要使直根膨大,高产且优质,首先应使其地上部分适当茂盛起来,以促进物质生产和地下部膨大。
