今年3月下旬,我县从外地引进10余万株杨梅,主要分配在河田公社的芦竹、露湖、车橑及县茶果场地试种,现已抽出新梢,长出绿叶,成活率达95％以上。据5月28日在河田公社朱溪大队水土流失严重区(寸草难长的莲塘坑山地)观测所种的1,000株杨梅,成活率高达98％,株高29～56厘米,平均37.7厘米,新梢长5～12厘米。而同一坡地已种植6年的马尾松,株高只有15～16厘米,平均36.9厘米,相比之下说明在我县推广种植杨梅是有希望的。
