In introducing the current status of mineralogy and its tasks, the academy places particular emphasis on the study of minerals, including sub-minerals, to interpret the geological conditions and the media conditions for the formation of minerals, ie to further ascertain the existing geological environment. The study of the mineral and mineral symbiotic assemblage in rock is the only reliable data for determining the origin of the rock in the early Precambrian. A case study of the Ukrainian shield shows that the study of the characteristics of mineral types may yield a large amount of geological information for determining the origin of the Early Precambrian rocks.
