Recently, Lehmann (1982) explored the mineralization of tin and the geochemical specificity of tin-bearing granites, and made some interesting arguments. However, we believe that there are several issues worth further consideration before accepting his general hypothesis. The basic premise of this paper is that the trace element distribution patterns in the unaltered granite series can be used to identify geochemical succession and magmatic differentiation patterns. It uses Rb / Sr and TiO_2 as the differentiation index for the granites that contain tin and non-tin, trying to show that the members with the worst divergence in the tin-bearing granite series have similar compositions to the average source rocks. The author claims that the chart in the article can explain "differentiation
