Memories and contrasts, remembrance of thinking and sweetness are a good way our party has long used to educate cadres and the masses. However, in recent years, many teachers have not adopted this method; some believe that this is the same old form in the fifties and sixties and is not applicable now. Using the method of recalling contrasts and thinking about sweetness, is it not “old” or “out of date” for ideological education for students? In the winter vacation last year, some students in my class watched television and movies outside the school and heard a few things. The arguments have changed. After the school started, they talked about foreign flamboyance, and even questioned “socialism is good”. In response to this situation, in addition to theoretically explaining to students the superiority of socialism, we have also invited old poor farmers and returned overseas Chinese who have worked for long periods of time to tell students about the working people under the oppression of three big mountains in old China. The real situation of the painful life and the capitalist world has made these students profoundly aware that the socialist system is superior to the capitalist system and other exploitation systems. Some students said that in the past only the capitalist countries saw cars and houses.
