咸阳市渭城区是1987年5月经国务院批准成立的。其位于八百里秦川腹地,咸阳市乐育路以东,泾渭文汇处以西的夹角地带。东接高陵,西邻秦都,南与西安隔渭水相望,北与礼泉、泾阳相连。现辖8个乡镇149个村民委员会,3个街道办事处34个居委会,总人口32万人,面积272平方公里,耕地25万亩。地势西北高东南低,由北向南是黄土台塬、渭河阶地和渭河平原三级阶
Weicheng District, Xianyang City was established in May 1987 through the approval of the State Council. It is located in the Qinchuan hinterland of eight hundred, Xianyang City, east of Lok Yuk Road, Jing Wei Department of the western corner of the area. Gaoling east, west Qin capital, south and Xi’an across the Wei River, north and Liquan, Jingyang connected. It has jurisdiction over 149 village committees in 8 townships and 34 neighborhood committees in 3 subdistrict offices with a total population of 320,000 with an area of 272 square kilometers and a cultivated area of 250,000 mu. The terrain is high in the northwest and southeast, and from north to south are the Loess Plateau, the Weihe terrace and the Weihe plain
