The Chemical Abstracts of America (CA), edited and published by the Chemical Abstracts Service, was first published in 1907 and covers specialized literature on chemical and chemical engineering, including pure technical data on theoretical chemistry and applied chemical science research and manufacturing processes. Its coverage accounts for more than 98% of the total chemical and chemical literature in the world.
