小下颌的患者在型方面有很多的不同。由于无正常的覆盖关系,前牙通常既不能提供保护作用,也不能产生正常的制导作用,全部力只有由牙来承受,后牙则有强大的力。
Patients with small jaws have a lot of differences in size. Because there is no normal cover-to-cover relationship, the anterior teeth usually provide neither protection nor normal guidance. All force is sustained only by the teeth, and the posterior teeth have strong force.
