一、Teaching aims:

(2).They are from Grandpa and Grandma.Theyaren’t from my parents.Are the from Grandpa andGrandma?Yes,they are.Are they from your parents?No,they aren’t.Who are they from?they are from Grandpaand Grandma.
3.文化目标:了解中英文化差异,在赠送、接受礼物方面的不同反应。
二、Teaching key points:
1、本课时的教学重点是有关日常用品的8个名词。
2、句型其中skateboard,calculator,halrdryer单词较长,发音也有一定难度,教师应重点指导。
3、重点句型:who iS it from?Who are they from?
三、Teaching difficulties
本课时的难点是:Who is it from?It is from Grandma.Who are they from?They’re from Grandpa and Grandma.这组句型,应充分利用课文中提供的对话,让学生听、模仿,掌握并学会运用。在操练时,教师可准备一些礼物,设置一个真实的接受礼物的教学情境,让学生在语言情境中理解并掌握这组重点句型,扩展训练这组句型。
四、Teaching preparation
1.教师准备:1)教学图片,圣诞老人服饰,一个礼物袋,有关日用品单词的实物2)录音机,磁带3)录音题目讲义。
2.学生准备:每人一张纸条和一份圣诞礼物。
五、Teaching procedure:
1.Warming up:
1)师生热情地问候:HeHo,boys and girls.Nice to seeyou.How are you today?2)共同演唱学过的歌曲。
2.导入新课:
T:Hi.boys and girls.What festival is Dec.257 Ss:It’s Christmas Day.T:Do you like Christmas Day?SS:Yes.T:Children like Christmas Day very much.Why?Ss:Because we can get many presents.T:Yes.Jim’sfamily were very happy on Christmas Day.Let’s watchthe cartoons.
3.新课教学:
Step l New Words of Dailythings
1)学生观看录像,初步体会课文内容。
2)教师根据录像内容提问:What are the presents?学生指着图片将文章中涉及的物品找出来:a watch,a teapot,a wallet,a calculator,a skateboard,a comb,a mirror,a hairdryer.
3)根据学生找出的图片,教师进行单词教学:a watch,ateapot,a wallet,a calculator,a skateboard,a comb,amirror,a hairdryer.
4)教师示范朗读,学生跟读单词。重点指导calculator,skateboard,hairdryer的发音和拼读。在教学skateboard,teapot,hairdryer时,教师可讲解一些解复合词的构词规律,帮助学生记忆单词。

2)出示句型,教师带领学生朗读三遍。
3)T:Who are they from?Let’s listen to the tapethree times then match sentences.
4)完成匹配题:grandfather grandmother father motherJim a watch wallet teapot halrdryer skateboard
5)用所学句型把答案表达出来:
T:Vlo is the watch from?Ss:It’s from Grandpaand grandma.
T=Vno is the wallet from?iS:It’s from grandma.
T:Vo iS the teapot from’is:It’s from Grandpa.
T:Who is the hairdryer from’Ss:It’s from Grandpaand grandma.
T!V~D_O is the skateboard from?Ss:It’s from Jim’s Mum and Dad.
6)Ss齐读句型:The watch is from Jim’s Grandpa andgrandma.
Step 3扩展性练习:1)、把上面可以改为复数的句型改为复数,为降低难度教师说符合情境的单数句子让学生说复数句子,老师随时纠正:
T:Who is the watche from?Ss:Who are thewatches from?
Who is the hairdryer from?Ss:Who are thehairdryers from?
2)、教师用复数句子问,让学生试着回答:
T:Who are the watches from?They are fromGrandpa and Grandma.
T:Who are the hairdryers from?They are fromGrandpa and Grandma.too
3)、教师引导学生训练单复数的肯定否定句及其回答。
Step 4:Consolidation巩固性练习
1.T:Christmas is coming.Everyone has a presentfor his friends.Who are you goina to send your present?Let’s write a card.
2.教师指导学生写卡片:Dear
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!From:
3.学生写完后贴在自己准备的礼物上,然后将礼物集中在老师的礼物袋里,让一位学生扮演圣诞老人,给学生送礼物:Hey!Hey!Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!Here’s a present forT:Who iS this present from?Santa clause:LookI Ss:It’s from.这两个同学都上台,接受礼物的同学拆开礼物,教师在一边提示说:Oh,it’saHow beautiful!I like it very much.像这样演示5组,逐渐由老师带着学生表达过渡到学生自己表达。
4.圣诞老人将礼物分派给5个学生,由这5个学生给大家送礼物:Who is mis present from?It’s fromOpen it.Oh,n’saIt’s
5.礼物送完后,大家齐唱:We wish you a Merry Christ-mas and a Happy new year.
Step5:Homework:口笔头做书上D部分练习。
