我是上海材料工程学校的学生。即将步入20岁的我面临升学和就业的选择。经过反复权衡,我准备一门心思去找工作。我是这么考虑的：首先我觉得自己在校学习已经有些麻木,今后考上了大专也没有太大的意思,读大专的三年时间不如多一点工作经验来得实在。再则,我的家庭经济条件并不是很好,我想减轻父母的负担,早点工作可以早点赚钱,又考虑到所学专业还算是有一定的特色,在当前的就业形势下,材料工程的专业人才有一定的需求量。客观地说,目前对于像我这样的比较有专业特色的中职毕业生,找一份正作是不难的,学举校和企业有订单式的培养计划,很多相关企业也比较喜欢中职毕业生去就业。但是,提供的工作岗位是最基层的,或者说是“比较低级”的。我之所以这么说,绝对不是我自己看不起自己,我本人也并不眼高手低,我只是在想,既然从事一份职业,总要有发展,无论横向纵向总要有所进步。

I just think that since I am engaged in a career, I always need to develop and always make progress, regardless of horizontal and vertical direction.
